本ソフトウェア「特殊染色タイマー」（以下「本ソフトウェア」）は、病理検査における特殊染色業務を補助する目的で作成された **参考用途のタイマーアプリケーション** です。

### 1. 医療機器ではありません

本ソフトウェアは医療機器ではなく、医療機器としての認証・承認を受けたものでもありません。
診断や検査結果に関する最終的な判断・確認の道具として使用することは想定していません。

### 2. プロトコルは参考値です

本ソフトウェアに収録されているプリセット染色の手順・反応時間は、一般的な参考値に基づくものです。
実際の染色業務においては、必ず **所属施設の標準作業手順書（SOP）** および試薬メーカーの指示に従ってください。
試薬のロット差・温度・組織条件などにより最適な反応時間は変動します。

### 3. 動作保証はありません

本ソフトウェアはブラウザ上で動作するため、以下のような要因によりタイマーが意図せず停止・遅延する可能性があります：

- ブラウザのタブが非アクティブになった場合の処理間隔の変動
- 端末のスリープ・電源断
- ブラウザ・OSのアップデートやクラッシュ
- ネットワーク切断やストレージ制限

タイマーの完全な動作を保証するものではありませんので、**重要な反応の管理は必ず別の手段でも併用** してください。

### 4. データの取り扱い

本ソフトウェアが扱うデータ（カスタム染色・編集されたプリセット）はすべてご利用の端末のブラウザ内（localStorage）に保存されます。
ブラウザの履歴・キャッシュをクリアした場合、これらのデータは失われます。
重要なプロトコルは別途文書として管理してください。

### 5. 責任の制限

本ソフトウェアの使用または使用不能から生じる、いかなる直接的・間接的・付随的・特別・結果的損害（業務の遅延、検体の損失、診断の遅れなどを含むがこれらに限らない）について、作者および貢献者は一切の責任を負いません。

本ソフトウェアを使用することにより、利用者は上記の条件に同意したものとみなされます。

This software ("Special Stain Timer", hereinafter "the Software") is a **reference timer application** intended to assist with special staining procedures in histopathology laboratories.

### 1. Not a Medical Device

The Software is **not a medical device** and has not been certified or approved as such. It is not intended for use as a tool for making final judgments or confirmations regarding diagnostic or laboratory results.

### 2. Protocols Are for Reference Only

The preset staining procedures and reaction times included in the Software are based on commonly referenced general values. For actual staining workflows, always follow your **institution's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)** and the reagent manufacturer's instructions. Optimal reaction times vary depending on reagent lot, temperature, tissue conditions, and other factors.

### 3. No Warranty of Operation

Because the Software runs in a web browser, the timer may unexpectedly stop or be delayed due to factors including, but not limited to:

- Reduced processing intervals when the browser tab is inactive
- Device sleep or power interruption
- Browser/OS updates or crashes
- Network disconnection or storage limits

The Software does not guarantee complete timer accuracy. **Always use additional means to manage critical reaction times.**

### 4. Data Handling

All data handled by the Software (custom stains, edited presets) is stored in the browser's localStorage on your device. Clearing browser history or cache will result in loss of this data. Manage important protocols separately as documentation.

### 5. Limitation of Liability

The authors and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including but not limited to workflow delays, specimen loss, or delayed diagnoses) arising from the use or inability to use the Software.

By using this Software, the user is deemed to have agreed to the above terms.
